EVENTS
The bi-annual Learning Session brings together parents, families, and individuals across multiple institutions in Cincinnati. They are an opportunity to learn and work together as we strive to transform the trajectory of Cincinnati’s kids.
Past learning sessions have showcased improvement projects from across the network — see below for materials and examples.
With the past 2 years of dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adjusted with a shift to remote learning sessions. Though these sessions have looked different, we have continued to learn together, and look forward to the evolution of these events over the coming year.
May 2024 Learning Session
The theme for this year's spring session is "Applying Upstream Thinking to Remove Barriers and Take Action."
This year, you’ll learn about Upstream Thinking during our new Capability Building Session. This session is focused on giving you the skills and knowledge you need to streamline your operations and make progress on your improvement projects.
During this session you will learn how social, economic, and environmental systems lead to community challenges, and study real life examples of effective upstream work and receive helpful diagrams and tools to apply to your own work.
Apply learnings from the Capability Building session in our Community Discussion breakouts!
Our Community Discussion breakouts are designed to provide collaborative and informative ways for you to learn, connect, and share information. This year's featured breakout sessions are:
