PATH TO FULL POTENTIAL

There are many steps on a child’s journey to adulthood. Their journey can be filled with challenges that depress progress, or they can be facilitated by positive relationships and events that ease their passage. We believe that all children can reach their full potential when their community comes together to pave the way for a thriving future. In order for all children to thrive, their journey must be smooth. All Children Thrive members and partners collaborate to create an environment where that can happen.

Developmental and educational milestones for Cincinnati children

As children progress from the prenatal period to young adulthood, we collaborate to create an environment where:

  • Parents are supported and recognized as the first, and most important, teacher;

  • Children meet developmental milestones, and receive extra support and services when they need them across all domains (cognitive, physical, language, social, emotional behavioral, and academic);

  • Communities network to make high quality education, social supports, and health services available and accessible for those who need them.

We accomplish these aims by 1) building important skills using quality improvement science to share goals, try new approaches and quickly spread learning across sectors, 2) co-producing with networks of families and partners who address processes impacting child success, and 3) fostering anti-racist approaches that combat systemic barriers.  With a whole child and family approach, all come together to co-construct pathways for children filled with the opportunities children deserve so they can make their way along their paths to full potential.
