All Children Thrive’s Executive Lead, Rob Kahn, MD, MPH, Named Vice President of Cincinnati Children’s NEW Michael Fisher Child Health Equity Center

All Children Thrive’s Executive Lead, Rob Kahn, MD, MPH, has been selected as the Vice President of Cincinnati Children’s new Michael Fisher Child Health Equity Center. Congratulations, Rob! What a well-deserved promotion.

The Michael Fisher Child Health Equity Center was established to address social, environmental, and health care factors that influence child health and wellbeing, and will act as an anchor for Cincinnati Children’s equity efforts, including the ongoing work of All Children Thrive. The new center is committed to measurable impact and continuous improvement while serving as a catalyst for new knowledge and innovations, and will enhance collaboration with families, community members, schools, social service agencies, businesses, and government partners.

Now, what does Rob’s new role and the creation of this new center mean for All Children Thrive?

“This is a significant expansion of my current duties,” Rob said of his new role leading the Fisher Center. “Cincinnati Children’s Community Health efforts have catalyzed health equity efforts across clinical teams and deepened results-oriented partnerships with families and community organizations…The Fisher Center is the next big leap forward in bringing together key elements of those initiatives - including All Children Thrive, HealthVine, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and Community Relations - for greater impact on community health and health equity.”

The All Children Thrive learning network looks forward to our continued work alongside Rob Kahn and this new partnership with the Michael Fisher Child Health Equity Center. Through improved collaboration and new connections, All Children Thrive will have the opportunity to better serve the children and families of Cincinnati and make sure all kids can reach their full potential and thrive.
